- We do not enroll you in trials. Finding a match on our Platform does not mean you are accepted into a trial. Enrollment decisions are made by the trial sponsor or research team.
- Free to use for patients during the current access period. We reserve the right to introduce paid plans with reasonable notice.
1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using clinicalmatchmate.com and related services (the “Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. The effective date appears at the top of this page.
2. Description of service
ClinicalMatchMate provides a tool to help patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals search for and understand clinical trials. We aggregate publicly available trial data and provide plain-language explanations and matching functionality.
The Platform is intended for informational purposes only. It is not a healthcare provider, medical device, or substitute for professional medical judgment.
3. Not medical advice
ClinicalMatchMate does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations. All content on the Platform, including trial summaries, eligibility explanations, and match results, is for general informational purposes only.
You should always seek the advice of a qualified physician or other qualified health provider with questions about your medical condition before making any healthcare decision. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something you have read on this Platform.
If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or your local emergency number immediately.
4. No enrollment guarantee
Matching to a trial on the Platform does not mean you are accepted, enrolled, or eligible for that trial. Eligibility criteria are complex and determined by the trial sponsor or research site. We make no guarantee that any matched trial will accept or enroll you.
5. Accuracy of information
We source clinical trial data from publicly available databases including ClinicalTrials.gov. Trial status, eligibility criteria, and contact information may change. While we strive for accuracy, we do not warrant that the information on the Platform is current, complete, or error-free. Always verify trial details directly with the research site.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Platform or its infrastructure
- Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the Platform without written permission
- Transmit any malicious code, spam, or content that infringes third-party rights
- Misrepresent your identity or affiliation
7. Intellectual property
All content, design, and functionality of the Platform — including text, graphics, platform summaries, and matching logic — is the property of ClinicalMatchMate and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Clinical trial data sourced from public databases remains subject to those sources’ terms.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE PLATFORM WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
9. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, CLINICALMATCHMATE AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE PLATFORM, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM SHALL NOT EXCEED $100 USD.

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites, including clinical trial sponsor sites, ClinicalTrials.gov, and research institutions. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or accuracy of third-party sites. Links do not constitute endorsement.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Delaware.
